I’m Gretchen Johnson, a professional family and portrait photographer based in Avondale, PA. I’m rooted in the heart of southern Chester County. Since 2006, I have photographed proud high school seniors, families chasing toddlers, entrepreneurs building their brands, and everyone in between. My photography style is bold, clean, and true to color. I believe your portraits should feel as real as the moments they represent. That’s why I personally hand-finish every image. When I’m Not Photographing
Outside of photography, life is full and wonderfully loud. I got married in 2000, and I’m a proud mom of three kids. All three went through Avon Grove High School right here in southern Chester County. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me watching reality TV — my guiltiest pleasure and the best way to unwind. Family and simple joys shape how I see the world. They remind me every day why these moments matter so much.
