Welcome to the blog of Gretchen Johnson, a portrait photographer in Pennsylvania based in Avondale and serving families across PA, DE, and MD. This is where the stories live. As a portrait photographer in Pennsylvania, my goal is simple. I create images that feel like the person, not a template. My studio is based in Avondale, PA, just minutes from the Delaware and Maryland borders. From there, I photograph throughout Southern Chester County, Wilmington, Hockessin, Greenville, Newark, Elkton, and the surrounding areas.
